Happy Friday the 13th, Gamers!

Unless, of course, you're afflicted with paraskevidekatriaphobia - the fear of Friday the 13th; in which case, we're afraid to let you know that 2026 has three Friday the 13ths, which is the most possible within a single year. YIKES!

Good News, Everyone!

The Game Makers is now available on Board Game Arena! Wait... didn't we mention this before? Yes, we did. But now The Game Makers is no longer in alpha or beta mode & is widely available for any gamer to try!

Play The Game Makers today!

Videos!

Here's a refresher course on how to play, here's a link again to Digital Board Gamer's BGA Tutorial!

Still a little lost? Here's a full playthrough from Mike Dilisio from The Dice Tower! Follow Mike on his solo playthrough!

However, if you're looking for a crunchier challenge for the solo mode for The Game Makers, we suggest playing with this limitation. Finish your gaming shelf within 4 full rotations of the central warehouse rondel. If you can't do that, then you lose! The extra time crunch will be closer in vibes to our actual solo mode.

Manufacturing Has Begun!

Manufacturing has begun! We'll soon get an advanced prototype. Once that gets approved, we'll begin final assembly where each and every copy will be finally assembled.

The good news is that we are on schedule for our early July fulfillment date!

Things are looking good! We'll continue to work hard keeping you up-to-date, but in the meantime, be sure to stay safe out there today!

🐴 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
3 months ago – Wed, Jan 14, 2026 at 04:38:23 AM

2026 is the year of the horse 馬

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!

Lunar New Year is right around the corner! And it's far more impactful than you might think. Our partner, Panda Game Manufacturing, is located in China (as well as most board game manufacturers). The whole country goes on holiday for a week to celebrate life, family, and friends.

Which means virtually every board game publisher will be sending in orders, and the queue can get looooooong.

Are you ready for this lockdown?

(Yes. That was a K-Pop Demon Hunters' reference.) In order to keep ahead of the crowd and to make our manufacturing process flow as smoothly as possible, we will be locking in orders for The Game Makers in 48 hours. After Friday morning 7:30 AM EST on January 16, we will be unable to offer any refunds. Any orders received (or changes to existing orders) after that time will have to be shipped from the US and may result in higher shipping fees.

Find your survey!

If you have already filled out your survey, no more action is required. Most of you have already done this. If you are one of the few who have not yet filled out your survey, please fill it out immediately. If you are having trouble finding your survey (or just want to double check yours), then click on the link below:

Everything is on Schedule!

As Panda Game Manufacturing is our partner, manufacturing is going extremely well and, most importantly, we're currently on time. With our orders locked in and manufacturing beginning sooner, we'll be able to begin fulfillment to you on time! Are you ready to experience The Game Makers this summer?!

Fun Update News!

We got factory samples in from Panda. Here is a nice photo dump for you!

Looking for Goldilocks

The left tree had too little glitter. The right tree had too much. The new tree will be somewhere in the middle and be just right. We'll update you on your Christmas trees. CRAZY FACT: These trees will be painted by hand. YES! Each Christmas tree for The Game Makers will be painstakingly painted by hand. Yes. Yes. Yes. We apologize Team Snow; Team Green won... by a landslide.

An orange die by any other name would be as orange?

Well... that first orange die (on the right) was far too close in color to the red die. While Jay still thinks the red die looks like a Dr. Pepper can, everybody agrees that the new orange die will never be confused for the red die.

Horror vs Scifi

The specialty meeples ended up far better than we imagined. They'll add that special dab of glamour and cosmic horror you never knew you needed.

These new forklifts are HEFTY! Everyone on our team was very surprised by their weight. You're going to love the extra UMPH these forklifts give to your games of The Game Makers!

If you zoom in close enough, you can also see seat lining curves on the seats. WILD!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Stay awesome everyone! Hope you have an excellent year full of glorious gaming!

🛠️ EIGHT Solo Scenarios!
4 months ago – Tue, Dec 16, 2025 at 01:00:00 PM

🚀 Greetings, Gamers!

We're approaching the end of December and the end of 2025. If you didn't catch our social media post yesterday, we posted an update on the solo mode for Game Makers!

That's right! There will be EIGHT solo scenarios. Here are some highlights that we can share with you at this time.

Scenario Based Solo Variant

Each scenario, will have the player building a "Deluxe Edition" of one particular game. The cost of this "Deluxe Edition" for the scenario game will be DOUBLED. Therefore, if it originally costs five cards, one level 3 tile, and one level 2 worker to build the game, then the "Deluxe Edition" of this scenario game will now cost ten cards, 2 Level 3 Tiles, and 2 Level 2 Workers. This means you'll need to prepare a lot of resources to build the scenario game. After all, if you don't build the game, you lose.

Time Crunch

Players will also need to construct their own game deck of 60 cards (with some restrictions), so they'll need to not only find the scenario game but also build it before the draw deck runs out. Players will feel even more squeezed as they will have to accomplish everything within 5 full rotations of the warehouse; after that, the game ends.

Shenanigans

Ready for more? We added a few more shenanigans into the solo game variant for players to deal with. Most of the time, these shenanigans through a wrench, toilet, and a kitchen sink into your best-laid plans; however, on occasion, these shenanigans are gifts from up on high and blessings to aid you on your quest. This event deck of thematic shenanigans changes with each scenario.

The Best Part

The absolute best part of the solo variant is that it is a system. We have designed and developed EIGHT scenarios, each highlighting a different game. For example, in the solo scenario for Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island, the player must also collect a pile of 25 "wood points" in order to win the game. This highlights the first scenario in the actual game of Robinson Crusoe where the players need to collect a bunch of wood in order to win the game. And Robinson Crusoe is only one of the eight scenarios.

We designed eight, but you could design a scenario for any game. Do you want a solo scenario for Twilight Imperium: 4th Edition? Well, now you can. Should Root have a scenario? Well, you can design one! We gave you a glimpse of the potential for this system with the eight scenarios. We cannot wait to see what you come up with because why stop at only eight?!

The Game Makers is a game that celebrates the industry and our hobby. Solo gamers are a bigger and bigger group among us, and we wanted a solo variant that also celebrated not only the games but also the community. And no gaming community could be complete without solo gamers.

Timeline

Everything is on track. Our final files are almost ready to be submitted to manufacturing. We're just going over a few minor details. Here's a fun component photo dump for you!

Dice

Our dice have gone through quite a few iterations. The marbling was tricky to pull off correctly. We originally had white pips on the yellow die, but they were too difficult to read. The orange die was also way too similar to the red die; that needed to change. And some of the Bézier Team joke that the red die looks like a Dr. Pepper can. Do you see that?

TWEENIES + Containers

The TWEENIES look great and have a great feel to them. Each of the freight containers holds each player's personal set of components, so when you set up, you'll just need to hand each player their freight container, factory, and display case! We changed our gray player color to white as a white forklift on the warehouse resource wheel pops more. Speaking of forklifts...

Forklifts!

The new forklifts are in! While you won't be able to notice from the picture, the black part of each forklift is metal, giving each one extra umph and gravitas. For the later playtests, we didn't tell the players ahead of time that they would be playing with the upgraded forklifts. It was a joy to see each of their faces light up when they picked up their forklifts.

And last but not least...

The Bags

We decided to stray away from gray. This was done as the warehouse resource wheel is black and gray. By giving the tile bags an extra splash of blue, the overall table presence gets some much needed color. The colors of the bags match the color of the tiles! Each bag is also more than big enough to hide a massive gamer's fist, so there is more than enough space to shuffle your tiles around.

The Question

And now for the big question... What solo scenario are you most excited about? Which games do you think deserve a solo scenario? WAIT! Didn't we ask you  long ago which games you like to play solo? You remembered! Yes. That's why we asked you. Our eight solo scenarios are eight games that are popular among you, our backers, and gamers on Board Game Geek. So we ask again...

What game would you like to see get a solo scenario?

✨ More Game Maker Cards!
5 months ago – Mon, Nov 03, 2025 at 12:13:56 PM

Our Game Makers demo table was constantly FULL!

Greetings Gamers & Completionists!

We're back from Spiel 2025 where The Game Makers saw constant play. We had an overwhelming response and several Spiel attendees even supported the campaign via late pledge!

It's official: Gamers from all over love The Game Makers!

More Cards!

In other news, Bézier Games is proud to announce two more cards for The Game Makers! Welcome, Zombie Princess and Haunted Mouse!

However, these cards won't be available through our webstore (at beziergames.com) nor through this Kickstarter campaign.

Hence forth, each Bézier Games title will come with its own card for The Game Makers included in its own box. Thus, the only way to get the Zombie Princess Game Makers card, is to get Zombie Princess.

Both Zombie Princess and Haunted Mouse are now LIVE on Kickstarter. This cold and spooky holiday season, bring horror back to where it truly belongs... the family gaming table! Bézier Games is releasing 2 horror games in 1 Kickstarter campaign!

Haunted Mouse is a clever card shedding game from the mind of board game YouTuber Jonathan Cox (Jon Gets Games, Getting Games) and is wonderfully illustrated by famed Japanese artist 別府さい (Sai Beppu). Be the first mouse to awake from their nightmarish dreams and grab some morning cheese!

Zombie Princess is the long awaited sequel to the hit trick-taking game Rebel Princess. Just as Rebel Princess was a thoughtful modern spin on the classic card game Hearts, Zombie Princess is a spin on the classic card game Spades. Play in teams or against each other individually. Either way it's time to slay... some zombies!

Spiel Meetings

In more news, we met with our partner Panda Game Manufacturing at Spiel and got a close look at some new factory samples that look both exciting and promising! We'll be sharing more information soon!

Until then, have yourselves an EPIC week of gaming!
